I worked many years for a major retail bank, and have been involved in many aspects of retail banking. I specialised in business banking which brought me close to a large number of small businesses from across a wide range of business sectors. This enabled me to gain a thorough understanding of the challenges facing businesses and their owners. The experience and knowledge gained in business banking enables me to advise businesses how best use the products of financial services companies most appropriately, and to their own advantage.

My enthusiasm led me to develop close professional relationships with business accountants and bookeepers and it was suggested that I should follow my interests in financial and management accounting in order to broaden my knowledge and skills to the benefit of my business clients.

I already held a bookkeeping, and some accounting qualifications and so decided to take up self-employment as a bookkeeper and business adviser. Since then I have never looked back and thoroughly enjoy my work and the rewarding working relationships with my clients.

I maintain high standards and am a Sage Professional Bookkeepers' Club Member. I am friendly and approachable, and hope I can be of service to you.
